some of my favorite art I encounter is stuff that points me to other works to investigate, and this is among that category. it's surprisingly disarming, and quietly spooky in a way I quite enjoy. I found myself turned around a few times when looking around the rooms and ended up going the wrong direction, but I think it contributed to the overall vibe and was similar to a beat in the original short, which I watched after playing this. I guess I didn't know it, but I was familiar with a frame from the original short, it's used as the album art for R Plus Seven by Oneohtrix Point Never. Because I've been pointed to the original short through this, now I get to consider 3 works in conversation with each other, where before all I had was an album I like, and I really appreciate that.

what a privilege to receive such a response of something i was inspired to build
I like these minimalist corridors and solitude of moving towards the unknown!
thanks, this was an attempt at doing a kind of "cover" of an iconic old animated short called Le Ravissement De Frank N. Stein
Thank you, that's a wonderful homage! (Tbh. I wasn't aware of this short - and find it both really amazing.)
